Inspect and analyse social design intentions

Welcome to ProBIM Explorer – a tool that helps a building design team (e.g. for renovation or new construction) inspect and analyse design decisions that have been made by architects in order to create social value.

Social value refers to aspects such as mobility, accessibility, enhancing a sense of privacy, heritage, belonging, improving view-out quality, supporting particular activities (e.g. creating quiet spaces in a library), and so on.

ProBIM Explorer is one tool in the ProFormalise suite of tools for enhancing social values in buildings. The other ProFormalise tools are: SEEDS, ProBIM Analyser, and ProSpect.

Keyboard actions

z Zoom to the currently highlighted object e.g. when hovering the mouse over an intention-graph node or object in the 3D viewer
k Toggle between different social goal key performance indicators (after selecting some goals in the goal analysis tab)
r Unselect all currently selected objects
q Hide the currently highlighted object
w Unhide the most recently hidden object (i.e. "undo-ing" the hide action)
